Motorcycle Accident Attorneys
Motorcyclists are too often blamed for crashes that weren’t their fault — and their injuries tend to be more severe. Insurers know it, which is why having an attorney early matters. Metro Attorney represents riders injured across Minnesota.
Riders we represent
We pursue claims for riders hurt by inattentive drivers, unsafe road conditions, and defective equipment. When needed, we work with accident reconstruction to show what really happened and push back on bias against motorcyclists.
- Left-turn and lane-change collisions
- Drivers who “didn’t see” the motorcycle
- Road hazards and defective parts
- Catastrophic and life-altering injuries
We fight for the full value of your claim
Serious injuries deserve serious representation. We pursue compensation that reflects the true cost of your medical care, lost income, and pain. No fee unless we recover for you.
Common questions about Minnesota motorcycle accident claims
Does no-fault cover a motorcycle crash?
Generally no. Motorcycles are excluded from Minnesota’s no-fault (PIP) system, so the way medical bills and wage loss get paid differs from a car crash. That makes the at-fault driver’s liability coverage and your own uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage especially important.
The driver says they “never saw me” — does that matter?
“I didn’t see the motorcycle” is among the most common defenses, and it doesn’t relieve a driver of the duty to watch for riders. Scene evidence, vehicle data, and witness accounts can establish what actually happened.
Will my own riding be blamed?
Insurers often try to shift fault to the rider. Minnesota uses comparative fault, so even if you’re assigned some responsibility, you may still recover as long as you’re not found more at fault than the other driver.
